Why Nigeria does not need a Youth as President...

Hello dear readers,

The soviet union believes in old age.
When the cream of the Kremlin gather,
Their Fluffy plates make a riotous field of cotton like a cloud of soot.
Their rulers are old-virtually born in the last century,
raised early in this one and orthodox communism flows in their veins made fragile by age.
Their soldiersare old.
A soviet soldier who becomes a major at 50 is an exception, not the rule.
Their civil servants are old; their bureaucracy is a creaky old thing.
It must be the ninth wonder of the world that a nation which believes so sincerely
And so passionately in old age can be so scientifically advanced.
You can't blame them. There is wisdom in old age.
Dan Agbese.

Some people are thinking that the remedy to the problems in Nigeria is a youth as leader...that's a lie with massive horns. You may except or deny the strength of my statement but its true. Why Nigeria is in the present state it is in is because it handed its roots to young people who may have still being undergoing Youthful exuberance or something more. Gowon was 33 when he became president of this great nation... 10+10+10+3 ah ah ah...he still needed time to put himself in order before taking up such responsibility.

The youths in our present times do not even read. I believe without reasonable doubts that why the old in politics are still monopolizing political offices may be because they have not found the youths among us as responsible enough. Who would want to trust the security of a nation to a group of people who drink, take drugs, womanize, fashion crazy, and are strategically dead. Try giving a youth a position as little as youth leader in a sect...they begin to put up muscles and all. Recently, I heard of the cancellation of the election in the University of calabar's law department. Where some people stood up putting up impediments in the normal cause of election process. The major reason was because they dint want an Akwa Ibomite to be their President. Imagine,, at a student level this is  happening so what about when they are givinen much more important positions to handle.

Depression sounds like a calm expression, but it is a word that has affected thousands of young people in the 21st generation....
